The Hemme Life

Life is short. For me at least, in a literal sense.

At 4’11 (although rounded up to 5’0 on my license), I’m categorically petite, so when it comes to fashion and personal style, it takes a lot of work and thought to find the right piece that fits.

I’d like to use this blog to document my journey, to log questions about clothing that lead me down a rabbit hole, to gather nuggets of wisdom I have learned along the way, and to celebrate the items that have, against all odds, found a place in my closet.

This is the hem life, because with these short limbs, nearly everything must be hemmed.
